Ron Curteis

General Manager

Ron was appointed General Manager of Hutchinsons New Zealand in December 2015 and is charged with delivering sustainable growth for our brands, brand owners and customers. He is highly motivated to ensure Hutchinsons is the benchmark in its sector and a fantastic place to work.

Ron’s background is in marketing and sales where has held key roles with Gillette, DB Breweries, Tiger Beer and Charlie’s. Prior to Hutchinsons he was General Manager of ABE’s Bagel Bakery, New Zealand’s biggest bagel and bagel crisp manufacturer.

Ron holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing & Management) from Otago University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (Auckland University).


Dinesh Padukkage

Financial Controller

Dinesh has over 20 years’ experience as a financial controller across a number of organisations.  Responsible for all accounting functions including accounts receivable, payable, reporting internally and externally, audit banking and insurance liaison, forex purchase, systems development sponsorship and implementation.

 


Matt Mcdonald

Sales Manager

Matt joined Hutchinsons in 2022, moving back to the FMCG industry after 5 years with Dyson. With over 18 years’ experience in large FMCG organisations, Matt has worked for some of the New Zealand’s largest FMCG companies and brands. Matt has held various roles with DB Breweries, Campbell Arnotts, IRI Aztec, and SCA Hygiene.

Matt is responsible for the development and implementation of commercial strategies with our key retail customers. He is passionate about developing business relationships, people and brands and is motivated by the fast pace of change and challenges working with customers and consumers in FMCG.



Stuart Crowson

National Field Sales Manager

Stuart joined Hutchinsons in August 2021 as the National Field Sales Manager where he is responsible for 7 Territory Managers, two sales representatives and 42 Merchandisers across New Zealand.

With a number of years’ experience in sales and management, Stuart began his career with Nestle NZ in Auckland and more recently has held a number of Field, and National Sales roles within a number of blue chips FMCG companies.

Stuart is passionate about developing and driving a winning team culture, building long-term and rewarding relationships with customers, and ensuring that Hutchinsons and its Brand Partners achieve continued growth and success within the FMCG environment.



Xandria Chong

Supply Chain Manager

Xandria joined Hutchinsons in 2018 with over 17 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management. Xandria specialises in FMCG and has worked with a number of multinational corporations in the US, Asia, UK and New Zealand. With extensive experience in procurement, inventory control, supply and demand chain management, Xandria is highly motivated to ensure there is product available to meet consumer demand and that organisational objectives are achieved.

Xandria holds a Bachelor of Economics (Analytical Economics) from the University of Malaya and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.



Michael Taylor

Marketing and Partnerships Manager

Michael joined Hutchinsons in 2022 having worked over the last 19 years with a number of large FMCG businesses such as Lion, Jacob Douwe Egberts, and Frucor.

Michael is passionate about building strong brands and bringing new and innovative products to market, as well as ensuring we have long lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Administration (Marketing).
